OTT Navigator’s documented logo-pack option uses a ZIP archive of images matched to channel names. A logo pack changes artwork, not channel access or affiliation. Use a trusted source, respect image rights and review whether the names match the channels in your configured list. Check matching and retrieval separately. A trusted archive can download correctly but fail to match names, while a matching filename cannot help if the configured pack URL is inaccessible or points to a different file format.
Keep artwork separate from service
A familiar broadcaster logo in a player is not evidence that the broadcaster owns, endorses or supplies the player or provider. Use logos only as visual labels for the channels already present in your authorised source. A changed image does not change the underlying stream, publisher identity or subscription. If a familiar logo appears on an unexpected item, inspect the actual channel and provider information rather than using the artwork alone to decide where the content comes from or whether access is authorised.
Match names carefully
Artwork lookup relies on the identifiers expected by the app. A nicely designed archive can still leave blank icons when filenames do not match the channel labels. Follow the installed version's documented archive and naming rules, then test a small set of unambiguous channels. Compare punctuation, spacing and regional suffixes where matching fails. Do not rename every provider channel merely to fit an arbitrary artwork pack before understanding the lookup rule, because source refreshes and similar regional names can make that workaround difficult to maintain or misleading.
Maintain a controlled source
The app can revisit a configured pack location for changes. Use a source you control or trust rather than an unexplained public archive that may later change its contents. Use an archive location whose maintenance and content you understand, and keep the original source configuration separate from artwork settings. If logos suddenly change or stop loading, inspect the pack URL and matching names before resetting the provider. An artwork update may need its own refresh, while an expired provider account or unavailable stream requires a different investigation despite the same missing icon on the screen.

An example to work through
An image called Sports News.png will not reliably describe a differently named regional channel unless the app’s matching rules connect them. Test that channel and a few others after loading the archive. If only similarly named regional entries receive the wrong image, inspect the matching names before changing the provider source or assuming the stream itself is incorrect.
Questions about this topic
Does adding a logo unlock that channel?
No. Artwork and provider authorisation are separate.
Can a logo imply an official partnership?
No. A logo alone does not establish a business relationship.
