OTT Navigator

The answer, with the useful detail.

OTT Navigator’s EPG reload status can show whether guide sources were processed. Read that result before repeatedly clearing all application data. A guide source that fails to load and a loaded source that does not match channel identifiers require different investigations. Use the processing result to locate the failure stage. Downloading guide data, parsing it, associating it with channel entries and displaying it at the correct time are separate checks rather than one all-or-nothing programme-guide condition.

Observe the source stage

Note whether a guide source is reached and processed. An unavailable or invalid source cannot populate programme rows regardless of how the channel list is sorted. Run the documented reload and read the status for each configured source. Record whether the source was reached, processed or rejected, including the exact error where shown. A failed network response or invalid guide file is different from an empty category. Do not repeatedly delete the provider configuration while the status still points to retrieval of one separate guide source.

Observe the matching stage

If data loads but only some channels remain blank, examine their names or identifiers and the source configuration. A successful download is not proof that every channel has a corresponding guide entry. Choose one affected channel and one with working programme data from the same source. Compare their guide identifiers or supplied names where the interface exposes them. A guide can contain many valid programmes without containing a matching entry for every playlist channel. Preserve original provider identifiers when asking for help, and avoid changing all names just to make one schedule row appear.

Report a narrow result

Tell support whether no source loaded, a particular source failed or specific channels remain unmatched. Keep credential-bearing source URLs out of public screenshots. Share the source label, reload outcome and affected channel names through the appropriate support route, keeping credential-bearing guide addresses private. If programmes appear under the wrong channel, report matching rather than only saying EPG is blank. If entries are consistently shifted, check the device clock and guide times separately; successful processing does not establish correct channel association or timezone display.

An example to work through

A status showing processed guide data alongside a few blank rows points to a narrower issue than a guide source that cannot be retrieved at all. Compare one blank channel's identifiers with a working entry from the same source. Preserve the reload result and report the specific unmatched rows instead of clearing the whole player's account and organisation.

Questions about this topic

Does reloading guarantee every channel has programme data?

No. The source must contain matching entries.

Should I share the entire EPG URL publicly?

Not if it contains account parameters or private access information.
