A shared television can retain account profiles, browsing history and purchase access after you stop watching. Use the player’s actual sign-out or profile-removal option when the account should no longer remain on that device. Simply closing the app is not always the same as removing its stored login.
Decide what should remain shared
A household device and a hotel or borrowed television have different trust contexts. Avoid leaving a personal service profile on a device you do not control. Keep app-store and payment accounts out of a temporary setup where possible.
Remove the relevant account layer
The streaming profile, player publisher account and operating-system account can be separate. Signing out of one may leave the others. Use the device and app documentation to identify what each action removes.
Review local records
Favorites, recent searches and exported files can remain even after a profile is removed. Clean up unnecessary private files through the device’s supported controls. Do not delete other people’s accounts or data without their authorization.

An example to work through
Closing a player with the remote can leave its service profile ready to reopen. A temporary borrowed device should not retain that profile after your use ends.
