TiviMate Companion is intended to help manage or unlock Premium functionality on supported devices without Google Play. It is not the television player itself and does not supply channels. Install the player on the viewing device and use the publisher’s current account workflow for its software entitlement. Choose the application according to the task. A companion account-management screen on a phone is not evidence that the TV player is installed, licensed or configured, and it is not a substitute for the viewing device's source setup.
Recognise the package
The Companion listing uses ar.tvplayer.companion, while the TV player listing uses ar.tvplayer.tv. Those identifiers distinguish two applications with related branding. Compare the official linked listing and package identifier before installation so the related branding does not lead to the wrong app for the task. Companion is an account or entitlement workflow, while the TV player supplies the viewing interface. An installed Companion icon on a phone does not establish that its separate television has the player or a supported operating system.
Keep the viewing device in mind
Installing Companion on a phone does not automatically configure a provider on the TV. The TV player still needs its own legitimate source setup. After completing the publisher's supported entitlement process, return to the television and verify the player edition and software account state there. Then configure the provider using its issued format. Keep the phone and TV tasks distinct: restoring software access may succeed even if the television has no source, an old source or a provider account requiring separate recovery.
Use the current purchase route
Account and payment workflows can change. Follow the developer’s live instructions rather than assuming an old tutorial’s button sequence or price remains current. Consult the current developer guidance for whether Companion is needed in your distribution route rather than following an older video's purchase sequence. Keep any software receipt and account recovery details privately. If an account workflow fails, record which application and device produced the message; an error inside Companion should not automatically trigger clearing the viewing player's configuration or retyping provider credentials.

An example to work through
A phone showing the Companion account screen is not supposed to behave like the TV’s channel-viewing interface. Use that phone screen for the publisher's supported account task, then return to the TV player to verify its entitlement. Add the authorised provider source there; Companion itself is not a channel catalogue or replacement viewing app.
