Prepare the final viewing connection, reduce avoidable household load and compare actual playback under normal conditions. Network preparation is a diagnostic process, not a promise of uninterrupted streaming.
Record a baseline
Note device placement, Wi-Fi band or cable connection, usual viewing time and other active household traffic. Test more than one source so an isolated source failure is not confused with a network-wide problem.
Use a wired comparison where supported
Connect the device to the router with a suitable working Ethernet cable if supported. If the wired test improves repeatable playback, investigate Wi-Fi coverage and interference rather than changing the account.
Check the local wireless path
Compare available supported bands in the same location. Higher-frequency bands can offer more capacity but lose strength through obstacles; the measured result on your device matters more than the band name.
Restart without losing diagnostic information
Restart the player and router separately, allow each to reconnect and retest. Avoid factory resets or changing many router settings as a first step. Record the result and retain the previous configuration.
