Use a trial to answer specific questions about your final device, player and connection. Record what worked, what failed and the confirmed account limits before purchasing a longer period.
Prepare a repeatable test
- Write the device model, operating system and player version in a private note.
- Confirm activation and expiry times, concurrent limits and any separate app fee.
- Choose a few priority live items, an on-demand item and a programme-guide entry.
- Test on the connection and at the time of day you normally use.
Record outcomes rather than a general impression
| Area | Record |
|---|---|
| Playback | Item name, time, symptom and whether another item works |
| Controls | Remote navigation, favourites and search behaviour |
| EPG | Programme time, device time zone and refresh result |
| Audio | Track selected, sound output and subtitle availability |
| Support | Question asked, response and unresolved condition |
Use the result for the purchase decision
A working app does not prove all content is available; an isolated unavailable item does not prove the whole account failed. Ask support about unresolved results and choose a duration only when the important conditions are clear.
