European club hockey brings teams from different domestic leagues into one competition. The matchups offer a wider view of the sport beyond a single national season.

European clubs in one competition
The Champions Hockey League brings together clubs that also compete in domestic leagues. Its fixtures are distinct from those domestic schedules, even when the same team name appears.
Recognise the competition
A channel or guide can list hockey from several leagues. The competition name and the teams together give useful context. A generic hockey logo is not enough to identify the match.
Live coverage and highlights
A full game preserves the build-up, intermissions and shifts in momentum. Highlights compress that story. Choose the programme format you want rather than treating the two as interchangeable.
