Baseball is a season-long conversation built from pitching matchups, series and the rhythm of the innings. A late rally can turn an ordinary evening into the game everyone remembers.

Baseball rewards the long view
MLB teams meet in series through a long regular season. Starting pitchers, home and away context and the recent run of games all add meaning to a single evening’s matchup.
Innings and extra innings
Baseball has innings rather than a continuous match clock. Extra innings can extend a game, while weather can change its timing. A guide slot is a programme listing rather than a guarantee of the final out.
A comfortable picture
Ballpark graphics and fine detail can be harder to read with heavy television sharpening. Use a sensible picture mode and avoid overscan that cuts off the scoreboard edges.
